1. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Marker
Inscription. Built in 1862 by the people of Mariposa under the direction of Father Auger the church was dedicated and the first mass was said on January 18, 1863 by Archbishop Alemany
 
Erected 1968 by Native Daughters of the Golden West, Mariposa Parlor No. 63.
