1. Brady's Bend Works Marker
Inscription. Located near this point, 1839-73. Organized as the Great Western and later known as the Brady's Bend Iron Company. One of that era's largest iron works, and first to make iron rails west of the Alleghenies.
 
Erected 1946 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 59.951′ N, 79° 37.525′ W. Marker is in Brady's Bend, Pennsylvania, in Armstrong County. Marker is on Pennsylvania Route 68 0 miles west of Queenstown Road, on the right when traveling east. Touch for map. Located on PA 68 at the Brady's Bend Ballfield. Marker is in this post office area: East Brady PA 16028, United States of America.
