Columbus

This memorial pioneers in initiating and symbolizing a national movement for the Americanization of Columbus Day in the United States. Thousands of Patersonians of all racial origins by their voluntary contributions made possible this truly American tribute to the discoverer of the New World.
 
Erected 1953 by The Christopher Columbus Monument Fund.
 
Location. 40° 55.011′ N, 74° 10.532′ W. Marker is in Paterson, New Jersey, in Passaic County.
