Dedicated, April 28, 1989
...These gates, that were originally donated to Clemson by the class of 1928, were moved to this present location as a Centennial gift of Clemson University by Tiger Brotherhood, marking the official entrance to our University.

Location. 34° 40.8′ N, 82° 49.517′ W. Marker is in Clemson, South Carolina, in Pickens County. Marker is on Old Greenville Highway (State Highway 93) west of Newman Road, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map.
