1. The Water Tower Marker
Inscription. Was designed by the Architectural Firm of Holabird and Roche and is a classic example of Military Architecture. It was built in 1891 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of Interior on 4 December 1974.
 
Location. 42° 12.99′ N, 87° 48.715′ W. Marker is in Highland Park, Illinois, in Lake County. Marker is on Leonard Wood Avenue South, on the right when traveling east. Touch for map.
