Inscription. Quaker Meeting House built and used by the Orthodox Quakers 1834-54 by Hicksites 1854-1873 Grange Hall 1937
 
Erected 1938 by New York State Education Department.

Marker is on Quaker Road 0.2 miles west of River Road (New York State Route 251), on the left when traveling west. Touch for map. The cobblestone meetinghouse, now converted into a private residence, is visible in the background.
