1. Jappa Mason Marker
Taught school for 76 years. Her pupils included Harry Sinclair, W.E. Disney, Martin Johnson, and many others of prominence. During a very useful and successful life she wrote the school laws for Oklahoma, was a foe of corruption in public office and served as County Superintendent of Nowata County Okla, Principal of the State Agricultural College at Broken Arrow Ok., and as Principal of many other schools.
