Inscription. Findley McArthur and son built 20x30 cabin 1803-1805 of oak & poplar from farm. Sen. McNaughton's office attached on east side.
 
Erected by County of Monroe.
 
Location. 43° 0.019′ N, 77° 51.069′ W. Marker is in Mumford, New York, in Monroe County. Marker is on Scottsville-Mumford Road (Route 383) just east of Twin Bridge Road, on the left when traveling west. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Mumford NY 14511, United States of America.
