1. Church of Our Savior Marker
Inscription. Situated on the St. Johns on a portion of the Fairbanks Grant, this congregation was organized in 1867. The church was completed in 1883 under the Rev. C.M. Sturgess, a mission priest assigned to the St. Johns Valley. The church was regularly attended by Harriet Beecher Stowe, author of "Uncle Tom's Cabin", and the west window is a memorial to the Stowe family who were winter residents of Mandarin for many years.
 
Erected 1961 by Florida Board of Parks and Historic Memorials. (Marker Number F-48.)
 
Location. 30° 9.75′ N, 81° 39.166′ W. Marker is in Mandarin, Florida, in Duval County. Marker is on Mandarin Road near Thornapple Drive, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Jacksonville FL 32223, United States of America.
