Inscription.
3rd Regiment of Hunterdon
County, New Jersey Militia.
Fought in the Battles of Millstone
and Monmouth. In his youth,
he evaded the British
by hiding under the boulder
upon which his pursuers stood.

 
Erected by Stone placed by the Great-Great-Great Great Grandson of Charles Pidcock, MG William N Searcy USAF (Ret).
 
Location. 32° 4.552′ N, 81° 6.033′ W. Marker is in Savannah, Georgia, in Chatham County. Marker can be reached from Martin Luther King Boulevard (West Broad Street), on the right when traveling south. Touch for map.
