Das mittelalterliche wohnhaus wurde im 18. Jh. Mit dem südlich anstossenden nachbargebäude unter einem giebeldach vereinigt.
1928 schuf der kunstmaler Christian Schmidt (1862-1937) die fassadenmalerei mit der darstellung des städtchens sempach.
