1. Kendall Alley Marker
Inscription. Named for Bela Otis Kendall, a well-known businessman in Pasadena. During the boom of 1886, he built the B.O. Kendall Company, located at 35 North Raymond Avenue, into a thriving real estate business. Among the noteworthy buildings erected by the company is the three-story Kinney-Kendall building, designed by Charles and Henry Greene, at the Northwest corner of Colorado Boulevard and Raymond Avenue, another significant Kendall building is the two-story auditorium building, designed by Seymour Locke, at the Northwest corner of Union Street and Raymond Avenue.
