Location. 32° 58.225′ N, 117° 2.147′ W. Marker is in Poway, California, in San Diego County. Marker is at the intersection of Midland Road and Adrian Street, on the left when traveling north on Midland Road. Touch for map. SS Lane Victory carried troops and equipment in three wars: the Pacific Theater World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam Conflict. SS Cape Henry roll on/roll off ship helped deliver 3.5 million tons of equipment, supplies, and food to the Middle East in Operation Desert Storm.
