Inscription. 1949-1970 site of original Hershell Merry-Go-Round designed by Emily Bourgard & home of Sam Herrington's miniature steam train. Genesee County Bicentennial.
 
Location. 43° 1.657′ N, 78° 23.832′ W. Marker is in Pembroke, New York, in Genesee County. Marker is at the intersection of Allegany Road (New York State Route 77) and Phelps Road (County Route 4), on the right when traveling north on Allegany Road. Touch for map. 2. Northward View Morrot's Boulder Amusement Park Marker
rides and later opened his own park here on May 28, 1949. He sold the park to Wilbert Stradtman in 1964.
