Regarding St. Croix Lumber Mills / Stillwater Manufacturing Company. The mill building is listed on the Minnesota Historical Society's National Register properties list, but the form is a state form, not a National Register nomination. It is unclear if the mill was later appended to the Stillwater Commercial Historic District, as the marker suggests.
