Inscription. For sharing his memories of history as he lived them here in Berlin, West Union Canyon, and other parts of Central Nevada during the early years of the twentieth century.

His efforts will allow present and future generations to more fully understand that period of Nevada's colorful past.
 
Erected 1979 by Nevada Dvision of State Parks. Nevada Natural History Association.
 
Location. 38° 52.92′ N, 117° 36.555′ W. Marker is in Berlin, Nevada, in Nye County. Marker can be reached from Berlin Ichthyosaur State Park Road 2 miles south of Route 844, on the left when traveling east. Touch for map. If driving north marker is 2.1 miles north of NV Route 844. Marker is in this post office area: Austin NV 89310, United States of America.
