Inscription. Two-family iron miner’s dwelling built in area known as Irishtown. Typical of worker housing prevalent throughout North Jersey highlands during iron boom that lasted until the 1890’s.
 
Erected 1999 by Morris County Heritage Commission, National Register of Historic Places, New Jersey Register of Historic Places.
