1. Fort Belknap Memorial Marker
Inscription. Built with stones from the original fort, this monument was completed November 3, 1995 on the 144th birthday of Fort Belknap at its present location. Erected to the memory of the U.S., Texas and Confederate troops who served here. Dedicated by the citizens of Young County and the Gen. W.R. Scurry Camp 606 Sons of Confederate Veterans.
