1. Lake Mansion Marker
Inscription. Washington J. Marsh built this house in 1877. Myron C. Lake, regarded as a founder of Reno, purchased it in 1879, and ownership passed to his divorced wife, Jan, in 1881. This Italianate-style house has been moved twice and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
 
Erected by Nevada Historic Preservation Office and Washoe Landmark Preservation Inc. (Marker Number 227.)
 
Location. 39° 31.357′ N, 119° 48.957′ W. Marker is in Reno, Nevada, in Washoe County. Marker is at the intersection of Flint Street and Court Street, on the left when traveling north on Flint Street.
