Regarding House Where Alberto Masferrer Was Born. Alberto Masferrer (1868-1932) was a Salvadoran teacher, politician, journalist, philosopher, poet and writer. His life work focused on social issues and the rights of the less fortunate. With the assassination of President Araujo and the coming to power of General Hernandez Martinez, he was increasingly isolated politically. With the 1932 peasant uprising and subsequent massacres, he went into exile in Honduras.
