1. Edward John Konetchy Marker
Inscription. Led National League first-basemen in fielding for 7 seasons of his major league career from 1907 through 1921. As a Dodger he set a World Series record of accepting 19 chances on October 7, 1920 and made ten hits in succession in 1919. Born, September 3, 1885, at La Crosse, Wisconsin. Elected 1961.
 
Erected 1962 by Presented to the Hall of Fame by G. Heileman Brewing Company La Crosse, Wisconsin.
