Inscription.
First strike aircraft assigned to Special Operations Project "Jungle Jim".
First special operations aircraft to fly combat in Southeast Asia.
This aircraft memorial is dedicated to pilots of the United States and over 18 allied nations that have flown the T-28 in the defense of freedom.
It especially commemorates those who selflessly gave their lives to preserve the ideals of freedom loving people everywhere.
Dedicated 9 June 1973

 
Erected 1973 by the Hurlburt Field Memorial Air Park Council.
