Location. 17° 32.603′ N, 88° 18.25′ W. Marker is in Ladyville, Belize. Marker is on Old Airport Road, on the right when traveling west. The marker and monument are directly outside of the Force Headquarters of the Belize Defence Force. This is an active military base and permission to enter and photograph must be requested. On each side of the monument is an additional marker with a stanza of Binyon's 1914 poem, "For the Fallen".

3. An additional marker near a colonial era cannon.
The marker reads: These cannon, recovered from the area of St Georges Cay, date from the late eighteenth century. They are typical of the cannon used in the successful British defence of St Georges Cay against a Spanish Naval flotilla on 10th September 1798
