of the first independent government of Mexico
in Tlalpujahua, Michoacán, the Bicentennial
of the first commemoration made
at the Cry of Independence and 200 years since the
Celebrations of the “Campo del Gallo” in
Tlalpujahua, Michoacán.

Born in Tlapujahua on July 31, 1773,
He studied to be a lawyer at the College of San Ildefonso.
Legal ideologue of the insurgent movement and the first
Mexican constitutionalist.
Deputy and most meritorious of the nation,
he died on February 2, 1832

Ignacio López Rayón
Revolutionary fighter born in Tlalpujahua, Michoacán in 1773. He studied to be a lawyer, then fought for Independence. He was a government minister, revolutionary fighter, deputy and senator. He died in 1832.
