Regarding Alexander von Humboldt. Humboldt arrived in Mexico at Acapulco on March 22, 1803. After traveling through New Spain for almost a year, he stayed in Veracruz from February 18 to March 7, 1804, where he left for Havana, Cuba.

His birth year is 1769, not 1787 as shown on the marker (otherwise he would have been 16 when he made his trip to Mexico!).
