1. Missouri Flats Marker

Inscription. During the 1800's this site was used as a bivouack-camp area for the "Sagebrush Clippers." These wagons served the mining districts of the area almost exclusively. The name of this colorful area was derived from the Missouri Mule, a cousin of the ECV mascot.

Erected 1985 by E Clampus Vitus, Lucinda J. Saunders Chapter No. 1881.
