2. To the Founders of San Juan del Río Marker
This is the second of two markers on the monument. Although the "Bridge of History" is a symbol of San Juan del Río, it was completed in 1711. The other dates on the marker represent the year of the founding of the city and the date of the monument's construction (...and the city's 350th anniversary).
