July 3 Moved to this position. Took part in the cannonade preceding Longstreet's final assault and continued firing for some time afterwards. Moved at night to the rear of this line.

July 4 In the night withdrew and began the march to Hagerstown.

Ammunition expended 661 rounds.

Two empty gun carriages flanking the tablet represent the location of the battery. The guns were removed for restoration and maintenance.

Looking past the gun carriages to the east. On the far right are the round tops, at the southern end of the battle line. Cemetery Hill is blocked today by modern buildings and post war tree growth.
