Nació en San Pedro, Guanajuato. Magistrado del Tribunal Superior de Justicia y varias veces gobernador de su entidad. Como Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, durante el régimen del Presidente Juárez, negoció los tratados de la Soledad, Murió en Nueva Cork. E.U.A.

1818-1865
Born in San Pedro, Guanajuato. Magistrate of the Superior Court of Justice and several times governor of the state of Guanajuato. As Minister of Foreign Affairs during the regime of President Juárez, negotiated the Teaties of Soledad. He died in New York City.
