Inscription. This ornate cross illustrates the genealogy of Christ according to St. Luke. It was dedicated in 1914, in memory of Caroline Webster Schermerhorn Astor, who is buried in Trinity Church Cemetery and Mausoleum, located uptown at 77o Riverside Drive.
