Iglesia Nacional Presbiteriana
Este templo Evangélico es el más antiguo de la ciudad. Fue construido en un lote en la esquina sur del ex Convento de San Francisco y la recién abierta calle de Galeana. Construido por el Ing. Russel P. Cook, siguió los modelos neogóticos norteamericanos. Ha estado abierto al culto desde 1894.

National Presbyterian Church
This Evangelical temple is the oldest of the city. It was built on a lot on the southern corner of the ex-Convent of San Francisco and the recently opened street of Galeana. Constructed by engineer Russell P. Cook, it followed the neo-gothic models of North America. It has been open to worshippers since 1894.

The marker is to the right of the main entryway to the church. The other metal plaque to the right shows the times of church services. On the left of the entryway is a quote from 1 Timothy 1:15 (Palabra fiel y digna de ser recibida de todos: que Cristo Jesus vino al mundo para salvar a los pecadores. English: Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.)
