The Battery was commanded by Captain John T. Trigg at the battle. It is sometimes called the 9th Arkansas Field Battery.

4. Tredegar 12-pdr Field Howitzer
The other piece is also a 12-pdr Howitzer, produced by Tredegar Foundry of Richmond, Virginia. Markings on the right trunnion state "J.R.A. & Co. // T.F." indicating Joseph R. Anderson & Company, Tredegar Foundry. On the left the year of manufacture is stamped - 1862. The foundry number, 1400, is stamped on the muzzle. And the weight of 781 pounds is on the breech near the vent.
