Inscription. These willow oaks were planted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip in ceremonies honoring the royal visit to the Western Virginia Bicentennial Center July 10, 1976.

now shuttered, at the entrance and on the grounds of the Piedmont Virginia Community College. At this writing the parking lot and grounds of the visitors center are open. The marker and the trees are just south of the building. Go up the stairs and walk south on the front terrace. The marker is just beyond the end of the terrace.
