Williams' (1st) Brig., Hurlbut's (4th) Div.,
Army of the Tennessee.
This regiment was engaged here at 4 P.M. April 6, 1862 and then fell back to siege guns.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 140.)
