1. The Toll House Marker
Inscription. This marks the site of The Toll House at the meeting of the Staunton and Northwestern Pikes over which came the sturdy pioneers to settle Wood County.
 
Erected 1925 by The James Wood Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution of Parkersburg.
