1. "Little Lord Fauntleroy" Marker
Inscription. The author of this book, probably the most famous of her several works, spent her first winter in the United States in a small house which stood about 250 yards south. Besides this juvenile work, she was the author of numerous popular adult books and dramas. Born in England in 1849, she died on Long Island in 1924.
