Mercado de ArtesaníasNo se tiene fecha exacta de la construcción de este edificio, pero se cree que debió ser del periodo de gobierno del Vallisoletano Francisco Cantón Rosado (finales del Siglo XIX y principios del Siglo XX). En los años 20’s ya era el Mercado Municipal de Valladolid y funcionó como tal hasta los años 80's pues debido a que ya era insuficiente su espacio, en la administración municipal del C. Clemente Alcocer Rosado se construye un nuevo Mercado Municipal llamado “Donato Bates”, pero conservándose este edificio original y remodelándose para ser el Mercado de Artesanías de Valladolid.
