The Monday Club was the result of a sewing class started in 1898 in Marietta by Mrs. Betsey Mills and other community minded women. Today, the Betsey continues to offer programs and services for every member of the community. Pool Therapy, Warm Water Arthritis Workout, and Yoga are just a few of the many health enhancement programs available at the Betsey. Programs include a state licensed Day Care and Preschool Center, Red Cross Authorized swim lessons, and classes for all ages. Rooms are also available for meetings, special events and classes. The needs and desires of community members determine what classes and activities are offered.” (Submitted on May 17, 2017.)
