1. The Quarter Kitchen Marker
Inscription.
Eighteenth century brick structure with wooden addition. The wooden half probably dates to the 1840's.

The bricks were handmade and are laid in the Flemish Bond pattern. The kitchen features a large pyramid chimney and fireplace, a surrounding water table, and seven niches that would have supported scaffolding for roof repair.

Southern kitchens were usually apart from the main dwelling.
