The Toldeo, Ann Arbor and Northern Railroad Company became the Ann Arbor Railroad Company in 1895. The company still leases the east end of the building where its activities are limited to shipping, but this will be phased out in about a year. The Livingston County Historical Society purchased the station in early 1970, and operates it as a museum.
