1. Lynndale Building Marker

Inscription. The Lynndale Building was constructed about 1890. The northernmost of the three first-floor bays was occupied by a saloon from the building's earliest days. The establishment first was named Henry the Fourth, then The Club. Later it became the Stockmen's Exchange. The other bays were occupied by a variety of retail businesses, including a liquor store, cigar and candy stores.
The second floor originally had lawyers' offices, the offices of musical instruction and lodging rooms for rent by the day or week - advertised at "75 cents and up."
The building once had its own water tower on the roof.
