1. Flynn Building Marker

Inscription. The central two-story portion of their building was constructed in 1910. In the 1940s, single-story wings of reinforced concrete were added to both sides of the original structure.
In its early years, the building housed the Chas. I. Flynn and Co. Cigar Factory, one of several cigar factories in the city. The owners erected a large replica of a cigar on the roof.
Following its use as a cigar factory, the building for many years was occupied by a laundry/cleaning establishment.
