1. Southfield Township Site Marker
Inscription. Southfield Township purchased this site in 1872 and a frame building was erected shortly thereafter which was used for township meetings and community functions. After remodeling in 1934, it was used as the township business office until 1958. The City of Southfield came into being in 1958 and the site was used for the first city hall until 1964.
 
Erected 1967 by Southfield Historical Society.
