Inscription. This bell once served as the original means of summoning volunteers of the community when there was a fire. It was hung in the belfry of the old Borough Building.

Located on the lawn of the borough hall, the two Wormleysburg bells are visible here. The closer of the two was for the Wormleysburg School, and the further is the original Fire Bell, with its marker.
