The Most Excellent and Reverend Dr. D. Joaquín Arcadio Pagaza, Most Dignified Bishop of Veracruz, was born in this house on January 9, 1839.
He was an important poet and translator of Horace and Virgil.
He exalted his homeland through his sweet song and through his words.
