The Fine Arts Fiesta

The oldest full scale arts festival in Pennsylvania was founded in 1956 by Annette Evans and Alfred S. Groh to provide an annual celebration of the arts in the Wyoming Valley area. In the original plan the founders desired to guarantee that Fiesta would always be a "free gift of the arts" to the community.
The principal mission of the Fine Arts Fiesta is to present exhibitions, demonstration, and performances of fine and applied arts. At all times the Fine Arts Fiesta seeks to encourage quality and excellence in the arts as well as community participation in and enjoyment of the fine and performing arts.
