1. Dawny Sierociniec / Former Orphanage (Orphanotropheum) Marker
Inscription.   Dom dla katolickich sierot pochodzenia szlacheckiego, wzniesiony w latach 1702-1715 przez J. B. Peintnera. Barokowy gmach czesciowo zniszczony w 1945 r., został odrestaurowany w latach 1946-1954 i 1970-1972. Przez wiele lat siedziba Duszpasterstwa Akademickiego ,,Pod Czwσrka", prowadzonego przez ks. A. Zienkiewicza ("Wujka").

It was a house for Catholic orphans of noble origin, erected in the years 1702-1715 by J. B. Peintner. The Baroque edifice, partly destroyed in 1945, was renovated in the years 1946-1954 and 1970-1972. For many years it was the seat of University Chaplaincy "Pod Czwσrka” ("At No 4"), run by Reverend A. Zienkiewicz ("the Uncle").
