1. District of Columbia Fire Department Marker
Inscription.  This fire station originally opened on December 29, 1925, as the newly organized Truck Company 13. Engine Company 10 (organized on July 2, 1895, located at 1341 Maryland Avenue, NE) moved to these quarters on June 4, 1940, joining Truck Company 13. These companies have remained together since.

Beginning in 2008, this fire station was completely renovated. Engine 10, Truck 13 and Ambulance 10, who take great pride in protecting the citizens in and surrounding the Trinidad community, returned to continue their legacy of devoted service on November 5, 2010.
