1. M153 - Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station Marker
Inscription.  
The CROWS is a multivehicle externally mounted remote weapon system that allows the Gunner to remain inside the armor protected vehicle while firing a variety of crew served weapons. The CROWS provides day and night capability providing first-burst engagement of targets at maximum effective weapon range while on the move. The M153 CROWS is a force multiplier and was first deployed in Iraq in September 2008. With thousands of systems deployed, CROWS was responsible for saving countless lives during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
