Landa…voz chichimeca que significa cenegoso, en donde se funde un encuentro de culturas que devino en nuestro mestizaje, señal del final de la conquista espiritual de la Sierra Gorda. La ciudad de Dios se representa en su fachada como una promesa de felicidad eterna. En testimonio de su fundación hace 250 años, sociedad y gobierno rinden tributo de admiracion a quienes hicieron posible tan singular obra.

Landa... a Chichimeca word that means marshy, where a meeting of cultures started us towards our present heritage, a sign of the end of the spiritual conquest of the Sierra Gorda. The city of God is represented in its facade as a promise of eternal happiness. In testimony of its foundation 250 years ago, society and government pay a tribute of admiration to those who made such a unique work possible.
